Privacy policy
I use your personal data only to plan and run your programme. This page explains what I keep, why and for how long, who I share it with, and your rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What data I collect
- Contact details: your name, phone number and email address, when you write to me on WhatsApp or by email.
- Travel details: your dates, number of people, children's ages, flight times, where you are staying (for pick-ups) and any special requests.
- Health and dietary information: only if you tell me (for example mobility limits, allergies, pregnancy), and only for your safety. I process this with your explicit consent.
- Booking and payment details: kept in our booking system, Bókun. Your card details are not stored by us; they are processed directly by Bókun's payment provider.
- Photos: I photograph you during tours. The photos are sent to you; they are used on this website or social media only with your written permission.

I do not add your data to marketing lists, sell it or use it for advertising.
Who it is shared with
- Activity partners (husky, reindeer, snowmobile, icebreaker operators and so on): only what the booking needs (name, number of people, and age, height or weight where required).
- Bókun (booking and payment system) and its connected payment provider.
- Communication tools: WhatsApp (Meta) and Gmail (Google). These companies may process data outside the EU; such transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
- Netlify (the service hosting this website): when you visit the site, server logs (IP address, browser information) are kept briefly for technical reasons.
- My accountant and, where legally required, the authorities.
How long it is kept
- Messages that do not lead to a booking: no longer than 12 months after our last message.
- Booking details: 2 years after the programme (for questions and complaints).
- Accounting records: as long as the Finnish Accounting Act requires (6 years for vouchers).
- Health and dietary information: deleted when the programme ends.
- Photos: 12 months after delivery to you; if you allowed sharing, until you withdraw that permission.
This website and cookies
This website uses no cookies and contains no visitor tracking or advertising tools. Fonts are loaded from the site's own server; opening a page does not connect you to Google or any other third party. There are no forms on the site; when you tap a WhatsApp or email link, that service's own privacy terms apply.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or its processing restricted, to object to processing and to receive your data in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time. Send requests to cevikkankoc@gmail.com; I will reply within one month.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland (Tietosuojavaltuutetun toimisto, tietosuoja.fi).
